Billy Lee Tuttle

Kernersville – Billy Lee Tuttle, 92, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at his home. He was born on September 3, 1933, in Stokes County, NC to the late Otis Levi and Hazel Tuttle. Billy was veteran of the United States Army. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather, who will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy Ruth West Tuttle.

Billy is survived by his two sons, Lee Alan Tuttle (wife, Julie) and Craig Steven Tuttle (wife, Sarah); six grandchildren, Crystal, Amanda, Kymberly, Alan, Heather, and Christopher; ten great grandchildren; and special nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Billy will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Glenn View Baptist Church with Pastor Coley Rimmer officiating. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 pm on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Billy’s name to Trellis Supportive Care at 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC.
