Billy Ray Vaden

Mr. Billy Ray Vaden, 76, of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017, peacefully at his residence. Ray was born February 20, 1941 to Mr. Herman Vaden and Mrs. Harriet Coffer Vaden. In his early years, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Ray was a devoted husband and father that will be greatly missed. He was a member of Triad Baptist Church, Colossians 1:10 Sunday School Class, and retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company after thirty years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents. Surviving is his wife, Iris Vaden, a son, David Vaden and wife Miranda, grandchildren, Cody and Rebekah, and a twin brother, Gray Vaden and wife Carol. A funeral service will be held in his honor 12:00 PM Friday, August 11, 2017, at Triad Baptist Church, with Dr. Rob Decker officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
