Billy "Steve" Stevenson White

Mr. Billy “Steve” Stevenson White, 71, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, surrounded by his family at his home in Rural Hall. He was born on December 29, 1954, in Forsyth County, NC to the late Billy Emory White and Edna Marion White. Steve worked as a truck driver for Hardy Brothers Inc. for many years. Later in his career, he became an owner and operator and leased his own truck to Hardy Brothers Inc. In his spare time, Steve loved to ride his Harley. He also enjoyed playing guitar and golfing. Steve was a member at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Rural Hall, NC. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Patti White, his daughter, Suzanne Hole (Randall), two granddaughters, Emory and Rylee Hole, several close cousins, and his fur baby, Heidi. A funeral service will be held at 2pm Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastor Danny Poindexter and Pastor Tony White officiating. Interment will follow the service at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown, NC. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
