Blanche Arnder Dwiggins

Blanche Arnder Dwiggins, 86, entered into heaven peacefully from Priddy Manor Memory Care on Sunday November 12, 2023, with loved ones by her side. Mrs. Dwiggins was born in Ararat Va on January 12, 1937, to the late William and Annie Reynolds Arnder. Moving to Winston-Salem about 75 years ago, Blanche would meet and marry the late Albert H. Dwiggins, together they had a daughter Deborah. Blanche took early retirement from Haines Hosiery after about 30 years. She was currently a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and for many years prior served as the pianist for Baux Mtn. Baptist Church as well as Goldfloss Baptist Church. She was also a member of a quartet at both. Blanche was a humble faithful servant to God and a loving family member and friend to all who knew her. She loved music, reading scripture, puzzles, and gardening. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a granddaughter; Kimberly, a sister; Lucile Whittington, a brother; Billy Arnder and several extended family members. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by two grandchildren Amanda, and Andrew (Kate), four great-grandchildren; Elizabeth, Ivy, Hazel, and Sage, two sisters; Betty Booth and Dot Essick, as well as many nieces and nephews. A funeral Service will be conducted 2:00PM Friday November 17, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
