Mrs. Bobbie "Barbara" Jean Hutchins Boger of Winston-Salem went home to be with the Lord on November 7, 2017, at Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born January 4, 1934, in Forsyth County. She attended Mineral Springs High School and worked at Hanes. Mrs. Hutchins was a member of Open Door Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. James and Carrie Roberts; husband, Lester James "L.J." Hutchins; two sons, Brian Hutchins and Ronald "Ron" Hutchins; and one brother Thomas "Tom" Roberts. Surviving are her husband, Nelson Boger; two sons; Mike (Melissa) Hutchins of Midway and Richard "Rick" Hutchins of the home; Daughter-In-Law; Glenda Hutchins, 8 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother; Jim (Carol) Roberts of Boonville; one sister; Sarah (Junior) Collins of Murrells Inlet, SC; and several nephews and nieces. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Open Door Baptist Church with Rev. Sandra Bovender, Don Hacket and Darrell Greene officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service..
