Mrs. Bobbie Campbell Branham, 80, of Winston-Salem passed away Monday, November 18, 2013 with her children by her side. Bobbie was born February 1, 1933 in Chattanooga, TN. to the late Claude and Jewel Campbell. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who put her family and their needs before her own. She attended Holy Bible Baptist Church. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Lance E. Branham on October 26, 2013 and a daughter, Patricia Maines on January 25, 2012. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, James C. Campbell, Raymond Campbell and a sister, Gertrude Harris. Left to cherish her memory is a son, Eddie Branham (Kellie); a daughter, Kaye Prestwood (Ted); 8 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am Thursday at Parklawn Memorial Park with Rev. Charles McFrederick officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 am prior to the service at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4 A Oak Branch Drive,Greensboro, N.C. 27407. The family would like to give a special thank you to Molly Ball for her loving care of our mother in her final weeks and to the staff of The Oaks for the excellent service provided.
