In loving Memory of Mrs. Bobbie Gayle Phillips Turner
Born on June 6, 1947, and passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 9, 2025.
Bobbie was a woman of warmth, creativity, and quiet strength, finding joy in the simple things, such as spending time with her family, cooking, or tending to her garden. She was a woman of many talents and interests, but it was her kindness, laughter, and the love she poured into her family, along with her unwavering faith to her Father in Heaven that defined her.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and cherished those roles above all else. Her happiest moments were those spent surrounded by family, laughing, sharing stories, and simply enjoying each other’s company. Hobbies she enjoyed included Bingo, creating crafts, along with a love for criminal TV shows.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Turner, parents: Earl and Dessie Ruth Phillips, siblings: Janice Jones, Bruce Phillips, Jack Phillips, and Linda Taylor.
Those left to cherish the wonderful memories of her are her four children: Paul Wyatt (Sharon), Greg Wyatt, Timothy Wyatt (Bayta), and Jennifer Duncan (Eric); grandchildren: Brian Wyatt (Kim), Ashley Wyatt, Saylor Cruey (Jacob), Devin Wyatt, Eric Duncan, Kaylee Duncan; great grandchildren: Lucas, Khalon, and Rhylee; two sisters: Carol Payne (Ira aka “Buck”) and Sandra Wilkins (Carl).
Bobbie will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered always. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you please donate to the charity of your choosing in her memory.
Her ashes will be placed next to her late husband; in the mountains she loved from her childhood.
There will be a private memorial service held for family members at a later date.
