Bobby Goins

Mr. Bobby Gray Goins, 78, of Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born May 30, 1939 in Forsyth County, the son of the late, Robert Jefferson and Vernette Swain Goins. Mr. Goins was a member of Abbott's Creek Primitive Baptist Church. He was graduate of Griffith High School and a veteran of the US Army, Special Forces. He was retired from Simplicity Manufacturing Company. Survivors include his wife, Janice Goins of the home; one son, Jeff Goins of Midway; two daughters, Angie Bryant (Tony) of Clemmons and Kelly Robinson (David) of Lexington; three grandchildren, Turner Bryant, Fielding Robinson (Tiffany), and Forrest Robinson; two great grandchildren, Chandler Robinson and Henley Robinson; one brother, Jimmy Goins; four sisters, Cherly Skidmore, Mary Dawn Barker, Jean Hill, and Susan Hill; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Abbott's Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Steve Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Parkway.
