Bobby Donald Hester

Mr. Bobby Donald Hester, 73, of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He was born May 12, 1936 in Forsyth County to James W. and Mary Styers Hester. Mr. Hester was a member of Berean Baptist Church. Surviving one sister, Bonnie Davis of Burlington; one brother, Frank McRae of Matthews; two cousins, Nannette Shelton of Pffaftown and Dorene Gourley of Winston-Salem. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Berean Baptist Church with Dr. Ronnie Baity and Rev. E. Ray Shutt officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Berean Baptist Church, 4135 Thomasville Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27107 or to The Childrens' Home, 1001 Reynolda Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
