Bobby Quesinberry 87 of Clemmons, NC passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on September 15, 1936, in Patrick County, Virginia to the late Sherman Marshall and Lettie Pruitt Marshall, and raised by the late Bryant Quesinberry and Earnie Marshall Quesinberry.
Bobby loved his country and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a dedicated and hard-working man who retired from Stroh’s Brewery after 29 years of service. He enjoyed traveling, his vehicles, antique car shows, NASCAR racing and going to the flea market every Tuesday with his friends. He was an avid member of the “Coffee Club Meeting” which was held either at Hardees or McDonalds with his friends every morning.
In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by three biological sisters Ethel M. Kirks, Atrice M. Thompson and Gertrude M. Montgomery; and three sisters Grace Davis, Ruth Maples and Louise Stewart; and three brothers Everett Lane Quesinberry, Eugene Everett Quesinberry and Golden Quesinberry. He is survived by his loving son and daughter-in-law Keith and Avis Quesinberry of Lewisville, NC; one biological sister Sylvia M. Harold of Mount Airy, NC; one biological brother John Henry Marshall of Danville, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 3250 High Point Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27107. The family wanted to extend a special thank you to the staff at Forsyth Medical Center ICU for the dedicated and compassionate care given to Bobby and his family during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Bobby’s memory to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
