Mr. Bobby Christopher “Sandy” Robbins, 56, of Winston-Salem Passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 24, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Bay County, Florida to Jimmy Robbins and Maeola Woodlief Robbins on November 7, 1962. “Sandy” was a veteran of The United States Airforce and proudly served his country. He was married to the love of his life Katherine for over 25 years. He was an outdoor person who loved shooting guns with his grandchildren and going Catfishing with them. “Sandy’s” wife said she will always remember telling him “You don’t listen”. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Doug Wilson and James Robbins; granddaughter, Hailey Robbins. Along with his parents, he is survived by wife, Katherine Robbins; sons, Rocky Robbins; Mason Robbins (Jackie); daughter, Jennifer Brown (Mark); thirteen grandchildren and one on the way; one great grandchild; brother, Jimmy Wilson; three sisters, Diane Needham; Sharon Chandler and Tammy Bryant (Charles); and a host of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 12 noon on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, 7020 A.C. Skinner Parkway, Suite 100, Jacksonville FL 32256.
