Bobby Winston Whitehead

Mr. Bobby Winston Whitehead, 84, of Bermuda Run passed away Sunday January 24, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born February 27, 1931 in Raleigh to James and Bessie Whitehead. Mr. Whitehead was a longtime member of Calvary Moravian Church before joining Clemmons Moravian Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and the owner of Orthopedic Services. Mr. Whitehead was an avid golfer who also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Ogburn Whitehead; two daughters, Pamela Love of Winston-Salem and Terry McInnis and husband Ronald of Lewisville; three grandchildren, Todd Love of Raleigh, Tim Love of Charlotte and Carly McInnis Lang and husband Michael of Huntersville and his half sister, Virginia Watkins of Ewa Beach, Hawaii. A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 29, 2016 at Clemmons Moravian Church with Rev. Ray Burke officiating. Burial will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
