Bonita Ann Gryder Dixon

Ms. Bonita Ann Gryder Dixon, 67, passed away on August 13, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on October 4, 1957, in Davie County to William Fred Gryder and Lynda Snider Gryder. Bonita worked as a secretary for Butner Construction for 30 years. She had a deep passion for her job. Most of all, she loved her family and was always there for them no matter what. Bonita was a light to many people, and had a good soul that will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother. In addition to her father, she is survived by one daughter, Melissa Dawn Robinson, three grandchildren, Junior, Eric, and Nathaniel, two sisters, Brenda Anderson and Karen Butner, one brother, Terry Gryder, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday August 18, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastor Stephen Pope officiating. Private burial will follow.
