WALKERTOWN – Bonnie Jean Sell Peddycord, 73, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at her home. Bonnie was born on July 4, 1945 in Forsyth County to James A. and Mozelle Kapp Sell.  She loved her grandchildren – they were her life. After retiring from Lucent Technologies, Bonnie worked at Lowe’s Home Improvement from 2009 until December 2018. She was a life-long member of Oak Grove Moravian Church.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her grandson, Austin May; and one sister, Janice Idol.

Surviving are her husband, Gerald Peddycord; three children, Gwenda Hooker (David), Angie May (Mike), and Gerry Peddycord (Katie); grandchildren, Lindsey, Jamey, Sidney, Sam, Jadyn, James, Vada, Cana, and Ethan; special grandchildren, Alexis and Cassidy; one niece, Kim Poindexter; two nephews, Lanny Idol and Sammy Peddycord.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Oak Grove Moravian Church with Pastor David Berrier officiating.  Burial will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends after the committal service in the church sanctuary with a reception following in the fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Austin May Scholarship Fund, c/o Oak Grove Moravian Church, 120 Hammock Farm Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
