Bonnie B. Sheets

Ms. Bonnie B. Sheets, daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend, 67 , of Lewisville, passed away peacefully at her home on February 11, 2016. Bonnie was born on October 13, 1948 to Clyde W. Butcher and Rebecca Louise Childress Butcher in Forsyth County and was raised in Yadkin County and Hanes Town. She was semi-retired after many years of dedicated service with R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. She then pursued part-time positions that fulfilled her interests. Her love of family surpassed even her love of aviation. A woman of faith, Bonnie was a member and trustee at Harmony Grove United Methodist Church. Working in the yard was the joy of her life. She appreciated beauty, especially in nature. She loved all her birds, the cardinals in particular, as well as her Pomeranians. Her creativity could be seen in her photography, the many things she made, and her crochet work. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her twin brother, Ronnie Dale. Surviving are her two children, Guy and Paige; a grandchild, Bradley Colbert; and three sisters, Wanda Blackmon, Frankie Speaks, and Kathy Osborn. A sweet southern lady who touched many and will be missed by all. A funeral service for Bonnie will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Harmony Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Greg Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM Saturday February 13, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek.
