Bonnie Harvey Whicker

Bonnie Jean Harvey Whicker went home to be with her Lord on April 9, 2026 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mrs. Whicker was born to the late Dallas Mansfield and Viola Ellen Lane Harvey on October 12, 1940 in Surry County, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Beauford, Robert, Ray, Jack, and Hoyle Harvey and sister, Avalean Ayers. Mrs. Whicker retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company and later worked for Southeastern Eye Center. She enjoyed traveling, reading, family history, and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Whicker was a longtime member of North Point Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of nearly 55 years, Bobby Whicker, of the home; son, Adrian Whicker and wife Jennifer, of Roanoke, VA; brother, Frank Harvey (Wilma), of Winston-Salem, step-sons, Reginald Whicker of Advance and Daryl Whicker (Alicia), of Winston-Salem; step-daughter, Carolyn Stone (Donnie), of Winston-Salem; sister-in-law, Mary Harvey, of Mount Airy, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Mrs. Whicker will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall with Pastor Eddie Honeycutt and Brother Paul Sisk officiating. The family will receive friends at the gravesite 30 minutes prior to the service.
