Greensboro- Mr. Bradley Scott Mooney, 65, peacefully left this earth for his heavenly home on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. He was born February 4, 1960, in Guilford County, to the late Billy Rogers and Nancy Meadows Mooney. Brad was a perfectionist by nature, and it showed in his painting business. He enjoyed baseball, loved Mt. Dew and was an avid N.C. State fan. He had a sweet spirit, and he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Bridgette Mooney. 

Survivors include his sister, Duchess Bennett of Oak Ridge; two brothers, Billy Rogers, Jr of Carolina Beach and Mitchell Mooney (Sheila) of Conway, SC as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 2 PM at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Tony Dowdy officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the committal at the graveside. Memorials may be made to Oak Ridge Methodist Church, 2424 Oak Ridge Rd., Oak Ridge, NC 27310.
