Jane was a mother, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a grandmother, and a great grandmother. She loved being a homemaker and took great pride in keeping her house neat and clean. She was an excellent cook, and nothing made her happier than seeing her family enjoying meals she had prepared.

Jane also loved her church family deeply. She was a long-time, faithful member of Gospel Light Baptist Church.

Jane will be terribly missed by her family and will never be forgotten. Her legacy will live on in those whose lives she touched.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by her brother, Ralph “Buddy” Sharpe, and a son-in-law, Louie Jones.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband of 66 years, Jesse Adams; daughters, Lisa Jones and Dr. Robin Adams; three grandchildren who she adored, Michael Jones (Jordan), Jennifer Richards (Chip), and Hannah Slater (Kameron); two great-grandchildren, Cassidy Jones and Whitt Richards and two on the way; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
