Brenda 'Kay' Herrin Disher

Ms. Brenda ""Kay"" Herrin Disher, 64, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Ms. Disher was born on August 1, 1948 in Iredell County, NC to William Matthew and Pauline Woods Herrin. Brenda enjoyed bowling and being around her family. She had a love for music, Atlanta Braves baseball, and the times she spent watching the Braves play baseball with her dad. Preceding Ms. Disher in death was her mother. Surviving Ms. Disher are her father, William Matthew Herrin; a daughter, Michelle Disher Robertson (Mike); a grandson, Chase Robertson; one sister, Trudy Herrin; two brothers, Ron Herrin (Debbie) and Tommy Herrin (Kathryn); one niece, Angela Herrin Goff; and two nephews, Chris Herrin and Matthew Herrin. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Iredell Memorial Gardens in Statesville, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
