Brenda Marie Carroll Gentry

Mrs. Brenda Marie Carroll Gentry, 64, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013. She was born in Greencove Springs, Florida to the late Elden and Bea Carroll. Mrs. Gentry was a charter member of Bible Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving is her husband of 44 years, Larry Gentry; two daughters, Rachel Boles and husband Wendell of Boonville and Sharon Hayes and husband Shane of King; six grandchildren, Samuel, Isaac, Jacob, Nate, Jaclyn, and Zeke; also surviving are two brothers, David and Gillis Carroll of Ocala, Florida. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Don Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Grapevine Baptist Church in Lewisville. The family will receive friends 7-9 PM Friday at Bible Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Closer Walk Baptist Church, 1052 Highway 21, Hamptonville, NC 27020 because she had a great burden for this ministry.
