Brenda McBride Parsons

Mrs. Brenda McBride Parsons, 79, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, surrounded by her family. She was born August 30, 1944, in Forsyth County to the late Robert LeeRoy and Gypsie Adams McBride. Brenda wore many hats in her lifetime and loved each one, such as a homemaker, cake decorator, and because of her love for children, a childcare provider. She enjoyed scrapbooking from time to time. Brenda especially loved her Hallmark Christmas movies. She will be missed by all who loved her.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Parsons; her brother, Ralph Edward McBride; and her grand dog, Tucker. 

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tammy Parsons of Walkertown; sister and brother-in-law, Lesa and James Turner, Jr. of Mayodan; her grand dog, Patton, and grand cat, Schuyler.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 15, 2024, at Gardens of Memory – Walkertown with John Manuel officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
