Brenda K. Wade

Mrs. Brenda K. Wade, age 62 of Westfield passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Brenda was born in Lee County, November 17, 1951. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Brenda loved to cook and enjoyed her grandchildren. She was always willing to help others and never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow W. and Vivian William Harrell. One sister, Linda Edwards and one brother, Gary Harrell. Brenda is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jerrold Wade of the home. One daughter, Lori (Don) Durham of Westfield. One son, Darrell (Lisa) Wade of Gibsonville. Five grandchildren; Cody, Blaine, and Barret Durham, Morgan and Wesley Wade. Two brothers; Foster Harrell of Garland, NC and Robert Harrell of Leland, NC. Funeral services for Brenda will be held Friday, January 3, 2014 at 12:00 P.M. at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall by Pastor Mike Mitchener. Entombment will follow at Parkland Memorial Park in Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday January 3rd from 10:30 A.M. until time of the funeral services.
