Brian Von Meyerhoeffer, Sr. died on November 1, 2025 surrounded by his loving family at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston- Salem. Brian is survived by his wife, Pam Meyerhoeffer, his children, Brian Meyerhoeffer, Jr. (Sandra),Christopher Meyerhoeffer (Abbie),Matthew Meyerhoeffer, Sean Marsden (Renea),Bryan Marsden (Cameron) and Lindsay Rawls (Mike) along with eight special grandchildren, Madeline and Hailey Marsden, Conner Meyerhoeffer, Sophie and Levi Meyerhoeffer, Ayden Rawls, and Evelyn and Iris Marsden. Brian is also survived by his parents Hazel and Luke Hale, his brother Kim and wife, Donna Meyerhoeffer and his brother in law, Rick Amos. He was predeceased by his twin brother, Britt Meyerhoeffer and his father, Edward Meyerhoeffer.
Brian was retired from the United States Air Force and the U.S Postal Service. He was a member of the Summit Church in Kernersville where he served in several different volunteer positions over the past 20 years.
Brian always loved watching sports, playing golf with his boys and attending Wake Forest basketball games. One of his most enjoyable things was spending time at his condo in Cherry Grove Beach with Pam. Getting a little sun, listening to the waves crash, and eating excellent meals made him happy. His declining health over the last year or so sorely limited his activities and travel.
Brian was known as PaPa to his grandchildren. He loved them so much and was so very proud of them all. He always talked about how we had the most beautiful and smartest grandchildren ever. He spent time after his retirement playing super heroes and watching or hearing about their sports activities and choral performances. He was good at pretending with them and they always thought that PaPa was super funny.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at noon at Hayworth Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, the Alpha-1 Foundation or to a charity of one's choice.
