Britt Colley

Greensboro - Britt Donald Colley, 57, passed away Sunday October 1, 2017 at his home. Britt was born on November 30, 1959 in Richmond, Virginia to Donald Eubank and Helen Wilder Colley. He was the most amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend, who was the rock of his family. Britt was President / COO of EPES Transport, having been with the company for over 36 years. He loved life and lived it to the fullest and will be forever in our hearts.


In addition to his parents, Britt was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leman and Edna Wilder.

Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Angela Colley; his daughter, Amber Tice (Samuel); three sons, Shaun Wilder Colley (Kara Stellner), Matthew Scott Colley, and Todd Matthew Riley (Roxanne); seven grandchildren and father-in-law Karl Robinson (Lorene). Britt was also blessed with many loving friends and his EPES Family.


A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Chaplain Robin Sides officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 -2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
