Bruce Carleton Marshall

Kernersville-Mr. Bruce Carleton Marshall, 64 died at his home February 7, 2013. Mr. Marshall was born October 5, 1948, in Forsyth County to the late Lee J. and Nell S. Marshall. Bruce was a US Marine that served in the Vietnam War where he earned a Purple Heart. He was retired from the US Postal Service. Survivors include his wife Carolyn Lynch Marshall of the home, two daughters and their husbands; Blair Beck (Greg) of Boca Raton FL, and Bridgette Yaeger (Robert) of Burlington; six grandchildren Jessica Cordoba, Lena Beck, Savanah Beck, Taylor Presson, Carson Presson and Brett Presson; one brother Michael L. Marshall and wife Chris. A celebration of life service will be held 1:00pm Wednesday at Mt. Gur Cemetery.
