Bruce Michael

Mr. Bruce Leigh Michael, 82, of Winston-Salem passed away on November 7, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.  Bruce was born to the late William Crawford Michael and Vera Joyce Michael on June 4, 1936 in Forsyth County.  He was a graduate of Hanes High School class of 1954.  Bruce retired from AT&T/Lucent Technology after 40 years of service.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife Mona, who according to Bruce, was the best thing that ever happened to him; his brother William Michael and sisters Marie Burns and Martha Ann Caudle.  He is survived by his brother Donald Michael of Savannah, GA, several nieces and nephews and his lifelong friend Frank Craver.  Many thanks to the 8 East Surgical ICU team at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for their excellent care.  No services are scheduled at this time.  Memorials may be made in Bruce’s honor to a charity of one’s choosing.
