Candy Leona Sampson Staley

Candy Leona Sampson Staley, 77, of Winston-Salem, peacefully passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025, at her home.

No formal services will be held at this time.

Mrs. Staley was born February 6, 1948, in Oneida County, NY, to Leo Palaski and Noreen Sampson Palaski. She had a great love for crafting, gardening, and reading, and adored her family. In addition to her parents, Candy was preceded in death by her husband, John Staley.

Left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Penny Swancott, Jennifer Bellinger (Dennis), and Tao; one brother, Lyle Palaski; six grandchildren, Jonathan Staley (Tina), Zachary Bellinger (Serena), Hunter Staley, Sarah Clark, Michael Clark, and Jordan Swancott (Ty); seven great-grandchildren, Graysen Schorer, Isaac Bellinger, Maxton Staley, Hudson Bellinger, Brooklynn Robertson, Alaina Staley, and Charlotte Robertson; and many more family and friends including Sharon Allen and Pam Trino.
