Carey Alexander Horne

Mr. Carey Alexander Horne, 84, of King, passed away Monday, August 29, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born November 23, 1926 in Cumberland County, NC to Ralph and Mallie Horne. Mr. Horne was employed with Hennis Spector Trucking Co. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Horne; daughter, Cheryl Horne; and brother, Ralph T. Horne. Surviving is his son, Lance Horne; two grandsons, Justin Cashwell (Amber) and Will Horne; three great grandchildren, J.W. Cashwell, Peyton Cashwell and McKenzie Smith; two sisters; two half-sisters; two half-brothers; best friend, Betty Hill; and Nancy Allen. A private burial will be held on Wednesday.
