Carla Michelle Reed

Kernersville - Carla Michelle Reed, 53, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at her home. She was born on September 14, 1973, in Forsyth County to the late Norma Jean Reed. Carla loved the color purple, her crime dramas, and Scooby Doo, and often given the nickname Scooby. She had a passion for cooking and would just love watching videos about cooking. Carla also had a love for crafting, especially Diamond Art and stitching. She loved collecting her Mini Brands and filling her fridge almost completely. She also had a Mini Vinyl set that she absolutely loved. Even during her time in the hospital, she spent her days opening and filling her mini fridge. Carla loved her husband, James, so much and always wanted her children around. She was just the best mom. Carla loved taking care of family and wanted nothing more than to be home, surrounded by her family, and keeping the house up. She was the best counselor, someone everyone could go to for advice, comfort, or a listening ear. Carla was also a wonderful friend, and everyone loved her. She loved her jewelry and all the little things that made her happy. Carla had such a special way of making everyone feel loved and cared for. She will forever and ever be missed.

Those left to cherish her memory are husband, James Rogers; three daughters, Makaylah Ann Rogers (Dwane Espenilla), Laylah Jean Rogers, and Nicole Lynn Rogers; and one granddaughter, Raylynn Marie McLean.

A private service will be held at a later date. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is proudly serving the Reed family.
