Carol Bostian

Mrs. Carol Jean Miller Bostian, 82, of Winston-Salem passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018. She was born May 11, 1935 in Forsyth County to the late James Miller and Iva Redding Miller. Mrs. Bostian loved the outdoors, especially spending time taking care of her flowers when she was able to do so. She also loved the water and enjoyed spending time at the beach during her younger years. Mrs. Bostian was very family oriented and loved spending time with them. She will be greatly missed.

Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, Harold Knox Bostian, two sisters, Polly Newsome and Rose Lee Carter, and two brothers, James Miller and Bill Miller. Surviving are four children: Dennis Rothrock (Martha), Cathy Browning (Bruce), Donna Williams (Dale), and Michael Rothrock (LeAnne), seven grandchildren: Nancy Jean Hutchins (Tyson), Jeff Browning, Joy Snider, Wesley Williams (Heather), Andrea Williams, Rebecca Rothrock, and Kevin Rothrock, ten great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Dorothy Harris and Sylvia Weaver (Jimmy).

The family would like to specially thank the staff of Forsyth Medical Center - Palliative Care and the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for their loving care and support.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the home of Mrs. Bostian. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105. Online Condolences may be made at www.Hayworth-Miller.com.
