Carol Grant Bralley

Carol Diane Grant Bralley, 69, reached eternal peace on Tuesday, July 23, 2025, with her beloved daughter, Amanda, by her side. Born on February 11, 1956 to the late William Carlson Grant and Carilee Wilhite Grant, Carol grew up in Columbia, SC. When she was in high school, her family moved to Winston-Salem, NC. She graduated from North Forsyth High School in 1974 and went on to Forsyth Technical Community College where she was Vice President of her student body.

She began her career in banking at Wachovia and retired from Wells Fargo Bank after 30 years of service in 2019. She was a social butterfly and truly cherished her long-time work friends, Kim Beveridge, Angie Miller, Tony Minor, and Juliet Reynolds. Although she was proud of her career in banking, the position she treasured most was being a mother.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Amanda Bralley; grand dogs, Tisha and Waylon; and cousins, Susan Duncan, Denise Taylor, Robin Taylor Cofer, Debbie Taylor Hunter, and Carl Taylor, Jr.

To honor Carol’s wishes, no formal funeral service will be held at this time. In February, a Celebration of Life in honor of what would have been her 70th birthday will be scheduled. Details will be shared in the coming months.
