Carol Carter

Carol Jean Whicker Carter, 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was the only child of the late Russell Alfred Whicker and Annie Mae Fulp Whicker and was born on February 28, 1945. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas "Billy" Carter. She leaves behind many cousins, who will miss her and cherish her memory. The family would like to thank Delores Lynch, Carolyn Marshall, Joanne Kreeger, Beth Dunn, and many other special friends in Salisbury Crossing. They were like family and gave her so much love and support over the years.
At Carol's request, no formal visitation will be held. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Gardens of Memory at 5676 Old Walkertown Road in Walkertown, NC with Pastor David Berrier of Oak Grove Moravian officiating. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
