Carol Ann Ellis Corlett

Carol Ann Ellis Corlett, 83, passed away at home on April 11, 2026. Carol was born on March 16, 1943, to Martha Drabinski Ellis and Wilbur Eugene Ellis in Rochester, NY. Carol was known as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who never missed sending a card on birthdays, holidays or special occasions.

Carol worked for many years at Bausch and Lomb, PGM Corp and even had a stint at Wegman’s. Carol enjoyed her morning prayers, watching her shows and conversing with friends and family.

Carol was a member of the Eagles Club for many years and enjoyed giving to various charities that held her interest.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by sisters Patricia "Pat" McGovern, Laurie Ellis and Kathleen Schlachter as well as nephew, Matthew DeRoller and niece, Linda MacGovern.

Surviving are her sons, Brian Corlett (spouse, Tony Palos), and Scott Corlett; granddaughters, Taylor Schwer (spouse, Adam) and Nicole Corlett and grandson, Kevin Palos (spouse, Lea); great Ggandchildren, Ashton Schwer, Avery Schwer and Olivia Palos; nephews, William "Bill" MacGovern (spouse Marilyn) and Mark DeRoller (spouse MaryBeth); long time friends, Marilyn Specksgoor and Sharon Borden; as well as extended family and friends.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at a later date.
