Mrs. Carol Lynn Redding Fishel, 76, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Carol was born on December 9, 1941, in Forsyth County and was the daughter of Lillian Crater and Richard William Redding Sr. She graduated from R.J. Reynolds High School in 1960 and retired from Quality Oil Company as an administrative assistant with 32 years of service. Carol was a lifetime member of Trinity Moravian Church where she served as a deiner for lovefeast celebrations and a member of the women's fellowship. She also volunteered for meals on wheels and was a proud member of The Deacon Club. In her earlier years, she enjoyed making clothes for herself and her family, crafting, cooking, square dancing with the Salem Squares, and traveling within the United States and abroad. Carol loved spending time with her family and adored her grand and great-grandchildren. She was a beloved wife, mother, and "Me-Me". She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 55 years, William Evander Fishel Jr.; brother, Richard Redding Jr.; sister, Joan Morgan. Surviving are daughter, Suzanne Morrow; son, Robert Fishel (Viorica); six grandchildren, Joseph Morrow (Kay), Daniel Morrow, Caroline Morrow, William Evander Fishel III, Amy Marie, and Reese Lynn; and one great-granddaughter, Lydia Jane. A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Trinity Moravian Church with Rev. John Jackman, Rev. Burke Johnson, and Mr. Joseph Morrow officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek.
