Carol Ann Hill

HILL - RURAL HALL Ms. Carol Ann Hill, 74, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast. She was born in Forsyth County on April 30, 1939 to the late Imo Johnson Utt and Willie Everett Utt. Ms. Hill was retired from Lucent Technologies and was a member of Woodland Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Ms. Hill was preceded in death by a son, Michael Hill; and her brother, Douglas Utt. She is survived by two sons, William Hill and wife, Misty and Scott Hill and wife, Tammie; grandson, Bryan Hill; two sisters, C.C. Edsel (Bill) and Camille Wood; and also, a sister-in-law, Bonnie Utt. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with the Rev. Tim Gammons officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Morris Cemetery in Fancy Gap, VA. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 19 at the funeral home.
