Carol Ruth Edwards King

Mrs. Carol Ruth Edwards King, 77, of Smithfield, NC, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Johnston Medical Center. Carol was born in Forsyth County on February 6, 1939 to Wilson Edward and Shirley Snyder Edwards, Sr. For more than twenty years, Carol was very active with Inner Rhythm Choir. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Eugene King. Carol is survived by one son, Charles Edward King; one daughter, Paige Kuppler and husband Craig; two grandchildren, Alexander and Claire Kuppler; and one sister, Patsy Saunders. A private family service for Carol will be held at a later date.
