Carol Simpkins

Carol Rae Simpkins (Schwalenberg), 75, of Lewisville, NC, beloved wife of Philip J. Simpkins for 53 years, was called home to heaven on May 25, 2020.  Born in Orchard Park, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Millie (Kaefer) Schwalenberg.  Along with her husband, Carol is survived by her two brothers, Charles Schwalenberg and Dale Schwalenberg (Sally Danforth), daughter, Amy (Simpkins) Hildreth and her husband Steve Hildreth; three grandsons, Andrew and Gabe Hildreth and Josh Driggers (Marley Simpkins).  Carol was preceded in death by her daughter Marley Simpkins in 2018.  Carol will be remembered for her kindness, unconditional love and dedication to her family and friends.  No formal services will be held.
