Carole Worrell Patterson

Carole Worrell Patterson, 71, of Winston-Salem passed away February 22, 2014. She was born April 14, 1942 to Hubert Arvil and Virginia Tolbert Worrell. Carole was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was very active; volunteering in the administrative offices, singing in the choir for most of her life, and was active in the Kay Arthur bible studies. Carole was an executive secretary for Key Home Builders for many years. Ultimately she retired to keep her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Judy Trivette. She is survived by her husband Don Patterson of 53 years; two daughters Donna Moore (Wayne), and Darla Michelle Gross (Dan); four granddaughters, Jessi Ann Moore, Jordan Gross, Gracion Gross, and Joyner Gross; one grandson, Tanner Moore; brother-in-law James Trivette; nieces Tracy, Marci, and Marnie Trivette; and many close and cherished friends. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday February 25, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev Ray Davis, and Rev Truitt Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday February 24, 2014 from 6 PM until 8 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kate B.
