Caroline Peters Winn

Mrs. Caroline Peters Winn, 96, of Clemmons, NC, died on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at her home. She was born in Catlett, VA, the youngest child of Joseph William Peters and Harrietta Massoletti Peters. She graduated from Madison College in Harrisonburg, VA in 1949. While working at the Department of the Interior in Washington, DC, she married Richard M. Winn, Jr. of Clarksville, TN on February 16, 1958. Caroline was a member of Clemmons United Methodist Church. Surviving are her two sons, Richard M. Winn, III of Lewisville, NC and Joseph W. Winn of Clemmons, NC. Her family and friends, as well as anyone who met her, will remember her gentle spirit and loving kindness. A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Westlawn Gardens of Memory with Rev. John Fitzgerald officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.
