Carolyn Clinkscale

Mrs. Carolyn Mixon Clinkscale, 79, of Clemmons, NC, left this earthly life on Monday, May 20, 2019. She was born July 2, 1939, in Cleveland, OH, where she lived for many years until moving to Winston-Salem, NC and resided for the past 40 years. Mrs. Clinkscale was retired from American Airlines and a member of Center Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Mixon; her husband, James H. Clinkscale and a son, Kevin. Surviving are her mother, Mamie Mixon; six daughters; four sons; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister and one brother. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at Center Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Joseph Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in Grapevine Baptist Church cemetery.
