Carolyn Jean Creed Hartman

WINSTON-SALEM-Mrs. Carolyn Jean Creed Hartman, 78, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Clemmons Village II. Mrs. Hartman was born on March 5, 1935 in Forsyth County to Richard Howard Creed and Gussie Walker Creed. She was a homemaker where she spent her time raising her four sons. Mrs. Hartman was preceded in death by her husband, Brantley ""Bub"" Hilliard Hartman, Jr., her parents, and one brother, Sonny Creed. Mrs. Hartman is survived by four sons, Don Hartman (Pat) of Fredericksburg, VA, Rickey Hartman (Ron) of Durham, NC, Tim Hartman (Beverly) of Huntersville, NC and Jeff Hartman (Stefanie) of Durham, NC; three granddaughters, Abigail Hartman, Hannah Hartman, and Madeline Hartman; one brother, Richard Creed of Clemmons, NC and a sister, Dewilla Walker of Clemmons, NC. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Forsyth Memorial Park.
