Carolyn Stanfill Plunk

Carolyn Stanfill Plunk, 81, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born June 13, 1944, in Henderson, TN to the late Homer and Marjorie Beene Stanfill. Mrs. Plunk was a loving, active member of Warners Chapel Church of Christ. Her joyful and faithful Christian life served as beacon and an example to all those she served with and ministered to. Preceding her in death was her husband, Robert (Bob) Plunk; two sisters, Doris Stanfill and Joyce Latham and a brother, Guy Stanfill. Surviving is her son, Vonn Plunk and his wife Andrea Plunk; two grandchildren, Elise and Eric Plunk; sister, Donna Shoemaker; two nieces, Sara Shoemaker and Susan Latham and two nephews, Serge Shoemaker and Dennis Latham. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Warners Chapel Church of Christ with Minister, Wesley Garland officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
