Carolyn Spaugh Griffith

Mrs. Carolyn Virginia Spaugh Griffith, 92, passed away Monday, July 3, 2023.  She was born January 15, 1931, in Forsyth County to the late Russell Albert Spaugh and Elsie Yountz Spaugh.  Carolyn was a member of Ardmore Baptist Church.  She loved to volunteer her time at Novant Health, work at the shop, play cards with her friends, and spend time with her daughter.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Ray Griffith and granddaughter, Deanna Rae Dease.  She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Cornelius (Earl).

A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, July 7^th at Ardmore Baptist Church.  Immediately following the service, a reception will be held in the fellowship hall.
