Carrie Leamon Myers

Mrs. Carrie Leamon Myers, 60, of Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at her home. She was born May 27, 1948 in Forsyth County. Mrs. Myers was a member of Hanes Baptist church. She was employed with Vulcan Materials for 38 years until declining health. Surviving is her loving husband of 36 years, Ron Myers of the home; a son, Donald Wilmoth of Winston-Salem; a brother, Mike Leamon of High Point; and two sisters, Becky Crist of Charlotte and Louise Bodenheimer of Winston-Salem. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 1 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Ron Groce, the Rev. Jon White, and the Rev. Mark Harper officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 31 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
