Catherine Ilene Rethmeier

Mrs. Catherine Ilene Rethmeier, 88, of Bermuda Village in Bermuda Run passed away on Friday, November 12, 2010 at the Bermuda Village Health Center. She was born April 1, 1922 to Wesley and Ellamaud Decker in Paonia, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents; her two sisters, Ruby Stuart and Lois Brennan, and one brother Arthur Decker. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Allen K. Rethmeier; her son, Kenneth A. Rethmeier and wife Judy of Bermuda Run; her daughter Nancy Rethmeier of Farmington, CT; grandchildren Mary Shea, Erin Shanley, Kenneth A. Rethmeier, Jr., and John Shanley; and her great-grandchildren Brady, Carter and Audrey Shea; Ella, Jack, and William Shanley; and Keaton Jenkins. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Bermuda Village. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making contributions to the Kate B.
