Cathy Boyd Cook

Mrs. Cathy Boyd Cook, 63, of Advance passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Bermuda Commons Nursing and Rehab. She was born October 5, 1952 in Forsyth County to Joseph Lee and Edith Lewis Boyd. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Brent Cook. Surviving is a sister, Sharon Moser and husband Carl of Advance; a nephew, Jon Moser of Charlotte; her cat, Puddin; an aunt, Juanita Carter of Winston-Salem and an uncle, Tom Boyd and wife Ellie of Greenville. A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Pastor Rebecca Allis and Dr. Chuck Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Tabernacle Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
