Cathy Paulette Greeson

Cathy Paulette Stafford Greeson, 69, of Oak Ridge, NC, passed away June 28th, 2025 at Novant Medical Center of Kernersville with her family by her side.

Paulette was born January 30th, 1956, in Greensboro, NC to Payne Stafford and the late Polly Stafford.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline “Polly” Stafford.

Paulette was a woman with a big heart. She loved deeply for her family, friends and all her fur children. Not a moment went by where she wasn’t thinking of those she loved. Paulette was commonly referred to as “Skee” or “Aunt Me” by those who knew her best. She lived up to those names with pride. Paulette was a woman with many talents. Paulette was an avid fan of scary movies. She loved watching movies with her nephew while devouring as much popcorn as they could. If she wasn’t watching scary movies, she was reading a book. Paulette was an avid book reader. She immensely loved her husband, Billy. They were married for 43 years until her passing. Their love was a true love not everybody gets to experience. Paulette battled many types of sickness but persevered through life with a heart of gold.

In addition to her father, survivors include her husband, William “Billy” Greeson Jr, sister: Judy Crews (Bobby), her nephew: James Hall (Jody), three special great nieces and nephew: Aidan, Alexis and Max Hall, and her beloved dog: Koda.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 am Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Oak Ridge Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Carr officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
