Cathy Neal

Mrs. Cathy Marie Throckmorton Neal, age 60 of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Cathy was born in Stokes County, September 12, 1956 to the late Paul David Throckmorton and late Thelma Lee Mabe Throckmorton. She was a loving wife and the best mother a daughter could ask for. She will always be remembered. Cathy was of the Baptist faith. Cathy was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Fultz and her father, Paul Throckmorton. Two sisters; Wanda Williams and Anita Fultz. Cathy is survived by her husband of 37 years of marriage, James "J.C." Neal and one daughter, Samantha Neal of the home. Four step-children, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Nine siblings; Larry Throckmorton, Randy (Patricia) Throckmorton, Glenda Fogerty and Lisa (Keith) Cummings all of Walnut Cove. Jean (Rick) Rhinehart of Surfside Beach, SC. Tommy Throckmorton of Pine Hall, Roscoe (Debbie) Throckmorton of State Road, Ralph (Julie) Throckmorton of Rural Hall and Janie Stewart of King. Five nieces and nine nephews. Funeral services for Cathy will be held Friday, September 8, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall by Pastor Jon White and Pastor Clint Fredericks. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.
