Cecelia Berry Jarrett

Kernersville - Mrs. Cecelia Ardelia Berry Jarrett, 89, passed away Friday, September 16, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice and Palliative Care Center. Cecelia was born June 19, 1927 in Richmond Va. to the late James and Eva Berry. Mrs. Jarrett was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Jarrett, Sr. a sister, Evelyn West, and two brothers, Bobby and Sterling Berry.
Surviving are; one daughter, Lynda (Jim) Russell, one son, William F. (Pete) Jarrett, Jr. (Melissa), two sisters, Shirley Shriver, and Diane McCall, a brother, Roland Berry, three grandchildren, Joseph (Betsy) Russell, Edward (Chris) Russell, and Maria Reavis, five great grandchildren, Amanda, Jennifer, Jessica, Julie Russell, and Kylie Reavis, many beloved nieces and nephews, and a dear friend, Jimmy Smith.
A funeral service will be conducted 12:30 PM Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Kent Hogan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to www.hayworth-miller.com
