Chad Stephen Duggins

Kernersville - Chad Stephen Duggins, 45, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Duke University Hospital. Chad was born on November 17, 1971 in Forsyth County to Steve and Barbara West Duggins. He was a 1995 graduate of High Point University where he played baseball for 4 years. He attended First Christian Church of Kernersville.

Chad was preceded in death by his grandmother, Polly Duggins; and his grandfathers, Carl West and June Duggins.

Surviving are his wife, April Hinson Duggins; his daughter, Carleigh Duggins; his stepchildren, Reagan and Parker Wyatt, all of the home, and Kali Walker of High Point; his mother and stepfather, Bobbi and Ken Sechrist of Kernersville; his father and stepmother, Steve and Becky Duggins of Wallburg; sisters, Shellie Coggins and Angela Cook; a niece and nephew, Kenzie Cook and Austin Case; and his grandmother, Naomi West.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Dr. Pete Kunkle and Rev. Kevin Bedard officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
